Callaway Razr Fit Tour Drivers For Mac
I promised myself if I was playing golf regularly enough that I’d buy new fitted clubs, I had every intention of going to the “high street” shops or a club pro but I heard about Foregolf from a friend, I done some research and decided this is the way to go so I recently got fitted in Foregolf. And I absolutely loved it!! From the moment I walked in Derek made me feel very welcome and unbelievably at ease. I went for the full bag check and would 100% recommend it, you are under absolutely no obligation to buy when you visit.
But of course I did. I went with Mizuno irons and wedges that I couldn’t wait to pick up, I have only played with my new clubs 4 times and have lost a shot already!! I am defo going to get my 3wood and rescue off Foregolf sooner rather than later!! If you love your golf get yourself up here for a bag check, best money I’ve ever spent!! Thanks again Folks.
I’ll be seeing you again soon! I had tried for the past 4 to 6 years to replace an old brass headed putter and it was beginning to drive me crazy. I was recommended by a friend who knew Derek and I booked a 30 mins putter fitting. I brought along 3 of the many putters I had bought and was using depending on which one let me down the least on any given month.
The set up and team are great I was taken straight in and told to putt away. I was told I have a straight putting path and all 3 of the putters I brought along were toe heavy putters and all bar one were far to long. I am 5ft 6in tall and was shown that I struggled to get my eye line within 5 inches above the ball path. Two of the putters I was fitted for by a well known retailer. At foregolf I was given a series of putters to see what I liked to try and balance it with what I needed. Such a great experience and I left realising I wasn't mad the last few years struggling from 4 ft. My weight and roll were really good according to the data so once I had the right club put in my hand it felt great.
This is a REAL fitting center and until you experience the data and the method of fitting I don't think you can appreciate it. Regarding cost I am currently waiting on my less than 250 euros odyssey putter from foregolf which will replace the putters I had previously bought, one of which was a scotty which cost over 350 euros so that puts it all into perspective. I loved it, so thanks a million I can't wait to beat old scoresJohn. Many thanks to Don, Dave and Christine for a super experience at ForeGolf! Beautiful facilities and excellent customer care throughout. Right from the minute you walk in the door, the place has a touch of class.
Used Callaway Razr Fit Driver
I was excited to get there, get warmed up and get fitted but having never been through the fitting process before, there was some apprehension. I need not have worried, Dave has the patience to match the process, countless combinations tried and tested.and amazing knowledge on show, the numbers don't lie to Dave! I couldn't have been happier.hope you had a happy birthday Christine! This was my second time with ForeGolf. I got a full bag last time (7 years ago) when they were working from the tour van.
The new set up in Killeen Castle is simply magnificent. I had been there briefly a couple of years ago to have them replace the shaft on a damaged iron (another great reason to have custom clubs made, you can replace or add to the set). It’s hard to describe the customer service you get here. It’s a family run business and you get welcomed like a long lost cousin while being treated absolutely professionally at the same time. I imagine Richard Branson would give them 10/10. Fitting clubs is part art, part science, and a little black magic! If you have ever been fitted by one of the big brands at a club day or in a shop and think you know what it’s all about - you’re dead wrong.
This is the real deal - fitting and custom making clubs on steroids. To sort out the driver I hit about 7 different heads with varying combinations of shafts as Dave worked the trackman data and my feed back to find a set up that I was confident with and created a ball flight I liked. Reduced spin, a gentle draw and a consistent 30 yards extra carry was the result 👍. All round just great service from lovely people who know their onions. If you love golf.this place is heaven. From the minute you walk in it’s warm, welcoming and more importantly it’s personal.
The staff are amazingly friendly, golf enthusiasts! Christine welcomes you like it’s your own mammy behind the counter, an absolute lady. I got chatting to Don and his knowledge of clubs and fits is incredible. His theory and knowledge is simplistic yet masterful in thought.
You could spend the day talking to him! I got my fit from dave. After a couple of strokes of my own clubs you could sense he automatically knew what to put in your hands and when he put the right club in my hand I didn’t want to leave. I don’t carry a driver, but I left wanting one so badly when dave found exactly what I was looking for down to a tee!!!! The hour wasn’t long enough I could of stayed all day!! It’s an amazing place with top class service. I implore any golfer to go here and not come out totally enthusiastic about their golf game.
Will purchase and will be back. We’re extremely lucky to have such a facility in Ireland. Well done guys.
Just wanted to check in and saw the Tour edition of the Callaway Extreme driver with the tour option comments. Also, I noticed the retail version has 3 settings for O, C, and neutral. What about loft, etc. Bing Excellent head.
Very low spin and has a great feel. I played the X Hot Pro with a Fubuki K 70 last weekend in some pretty strong winds and was able to just knuckle the ball right through the air all day long. I honestly expected a little less performance out of the X Hot Pro head compared to the Razr Fit Extreme, but there really isn't as much of a difference. The X Hot Pro is a good option for someone who wants a solid feeling head and doesn't need the adjustability of the moveable weights that Razr Fit Extreme offers. The Tour COG option that we have for the Callaway drivers and fairways this year is awesome though.
It gives you so many more choices for face angle and loft adjustment which is great for fine tuning the ball flight. The best part of all about Callaway's adjustable shaft system is that the shaft never has to rotate. With the Tour COG adapter, you get a lot of different options that the standard tip or any single ring adjustment doesn't have without having ot change the shaft's orientation which is really nice. I have a Tour AD DI-6 with a prototype of one of these tips from last year in my Razr Fit that the Callaway Tour Department built for me. The markings are different on these new tips and are much simpler to understand and use than the protos were, but the adjustments are all the same. I'm really excited to be able to offer these to BSG customers who want to custom build a Callaway driver or fairway wood or for those who want an aftermarket shaft with one installed for use in their current heads. I wouldn't play one without it.

If you play 9.5 superdeep and or 8 degree r11sv2 what lofts would you consider in the two cally drivers?
Hoss any guidance on loft on either driver compared to r11s v2 or superdeep? If you play 9.5 superdeep and or 8 degree r11sv2 what lofts would you consider in the two cally drivers? It depends on the face angle that you like. I prefer to take the left side out of play more and enjoy how it looks cranked way open and with a flatter lie angle. So, I play the Callaway heads with a Tour COG on the O+ setting which opens it up the maximum amount, flattens the lie, and delofts it.
Because of this, I go with a 9.5. which is adjusted down between 8. to 8.5. or so. These heads are both pretty low spin. So, the 8.5.
opened up will REALLY drop the spin for those who need it and can handle an open face angle. It depends on the face angle that you like.

Love the look of that driver! So, here is what I am thinking. 10.0 degree loft. Square or slightly closed. Fubuki K in 60 R or S.
Length @ 45.25 to 45.50 inches. Adjustable for winter golf of 10.5 to 11.0 by adjusting face further closed. 9.5 for summer.
Weights neutral or very slight draw, not sure on this yet. Order in 9.5 and adjust to 10.0 possibly? Note: For testing purposes, I have two Bridgestone 440 heads in 9.5 and 10.5.
Fubuki K reg. Project X 6.0 standard in 9.5 that I just smoke. These were both new demo clubs that I purchased and no one tried them. So at $80.00 each, why not give em a try. The Fubuki K in the 10.5 is a little loose and hits the ball high but very straight and very long, so that's why I am thinking about the 10.0 loft. I was tested on a Ping n flight and TM 9.5 several variations ago, R9, I think. They suggested a tip stiff shaft and 10.00 loft.
SS at the time was around 102 in the winter without warm ups, etc. So, with the new Callaway head and the Fubuki K, would that comb work for me? I thought the loft and lower spin might be a problem.
Hoss, what do you think? Thanks for your help! Ok, I always thought that + is adding 1. of loft and - is 1. less loft. Thanks, Hoss.
The way that the Tour COG works is that S is square, O is open, and C is closed. The second ring has a which when aligned with the other S, O, and C settings is the standard orientation like you get with the normal retail COG. The + makes it more open in face angle and lower lofted than the dot setting and the - makes it more closed and higher lofted than the standard setting. So for example, the S+ setting is slightly more open than the neutral S position and lower lofted.
On the other hand, the S- setting will be slightly closed and higher lofted. The same goes for the O and C positions. You can create intermediate settings or settings that are more extreme than what the standard retail COG provides. For example, O+ allows for more open face angle, less loft and C- allows for more closed, more loft than you can get with the normal COG. Here is the face angle of each setting for the Tour COG according to Callaway: C - 1.6° Closed C ° 1.2° Closed C + 0.5° Closed S - 0.4° Closed S ° SQUARE S + 0.7° Open O - 1.5° Open O ° 2.0° Open O + 2.7° Open.
