X52 Pro Driver For Mac

Hi, Do you get any error message/code related to the issue? Saitek X52 Pro USB Flight Game Controller is compatible with Windows 8.

This issue may be caused by the Saitek X-52 Driver. I would suggest you to follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode: a) Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Note: Select the correct product and Operating System from the above link to see the drivers. B) Right-click on the driver and click on ‘properties’. C) Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7 Operating System from the drop down.

D) Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it. Hope this resolves the issue. If the issue persists, you can write to us and we will be glad to assist you further. Your response is as if I am using the X52 Pro which is not what I said I was using, I am using the X52. The unit is recognized by Win8, and I have updated the driver according to Saitek specifications.

The unit is a flight sim controller, and a number of the secondary features do not behave properly. The rudder control, which is linked to twisting the main stick functions as a switch with no intermediate values transferred to the flight sim software. There are also to dial type controllers as well as a slider on the throttle control which behave in this fashion as well. Within Control Panel, they display full range control with all appropriate intermediate values. However, the game software, as well as a 3rd party game controller diagnostic ap, does not receive the intermediate values.

Finally, I have confirmed the controller is fully compatible with Win7, so there appears to be an issue from Win7 to Win8. Hi, Thank you for replying. You may check if the issue persists in Clean Boot. To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a 'clean boot.' A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Refer to the link: How to perform a clean boot in Windows Note: Refer the section 'How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting' to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting. More information.

I had the opportunity to contact Saitek, and the issue as they explain it, is that the controller driver is compatible with Win8, but not Win8.1 (which is what I am running). In checking above, I realize that I did not state I had followed the upgrade, but at the same time, was unaware that there would be potential driver issues between what I had thought was basically a version update. (In fact, I would not have updated the software if aware that it could lead to driver issues). Has Microsoft seen this come up much (driver compatibility issues between 8 & 8.1?) Greg. I have had issues with Win 8.1 also.

X52 (not x52Pro). Controller Axis controls on the x52 show in Win game controllers setup as Rotation. Also SST software will not work at all. Also HID compliant mouse on X52 throttle does not work at all. It did work in Win 7 but only after a dozen attemps to install. Very disappointing that a company as large as Saitek can't get updated drivers for their customers in a more timely fashion.

We all paid good money in purchasing such products, yet we are not getting any LOVE back!
