Dr.Web Light is a free virus and malware scanner for the Mac which is available in the Mac App Store. With the issues about Mac Malware I thought to give it a try. Dr.Web found some old macro and script viruses from an old PC that I had kept on my Mac for demonstrations in talks. Interestingly neither Sophos, Bitdefender Virus Scanner nor Kaspersky Anti-Virus, all for Mac versions, found these viruses.

The Kaspersky scan was done about 18 months ago but the files in question are from 1999. I show Dr.Web removing the 'Threats'.
