. This is a bug report. This is a feature request.

I searched existing issues before opening this one Expected behavior docker login with self signed server certificate will succeed. Actual behavior Got error message: Error response from daemon: Get x509: certificate is not valid for any names, but wanted to match our.company.registry I checked the CA and server certs several times with multiple tools. Everything is valid and contents look fine. CN is properly set. I have also written a small GO script, making a TLS connection to the given host with no such error message. Trying curl -cacert /etc/docker/certs.d/our.company.registry:5000/ca.crt also works well:. About to connect to our.company.registry port 5000 (#0).

Trying 1.2.3.4. Connected to our.company.registry (1.2.3.4) port 5000 (#0). Initializing NSS with certpath: sql:/etc/pki/nssdb. CAfile: /etc/docker/certs.d/our.company.registry:5000/ca.crt CApath: none.

SSL connection using TLSECDHERSAWITHAES128GCMSHA256. Server certificate:. subject: CN=our.company.registry. start date: Feb 12 10: GMT. expire date: Feb 12 10: GMT. common name: our.company.registry.

issuer: CN=DevOps CA,OU=DevOps,O=Company,L=Location,ST=State,C=DE Turning on logging and debug for docker engine gave no more helpful information. Digging into the GO x509 source code reveals no hint, why there shouldn't be any names in the server certificate. Steps to reproduce the behavior According to Add CA certificate to /etc/docker/certs.d/our.company.registry:5000/ca.crt Execute docker login with username and password. There is no redirect and only Basic Auth. I can reproduce this on a plain Centos 7 installation without modifications. Attached the Vagrant file and some bootstrap script to recreate the VM. Vagrantfile Vagrant.configure('2') do config config.vm.box = 'centos/7' config.vm.provision 'shell', path: 'bootstrap.sh' end bootstrap.sh yum update -y yum upgrade -y yum install -y yum-utils device-mapper-persistent-data lvm2 yum-config-manager -add-repo yum install -y docker-ce systemctl daemon-reload systemctl enable docker systemctl start docker The error occurs even without the CA certificate, means before the certificate chain is validated.

Did some further research and changed the bootstrap.sh to not install the latest docker-ce version, but 17.09. Now everything works as expected. (after manually add the CA certificate) docker login our.company.registry:5000 Username: foo Password: baar Login Succeeded docker version Client: Version: 17.09.1-ce API version: 1.32 Go version: go1.8.3 Git commit: 19e2cf6 Built: Thu Dec 7 22: OS/Arch: linux/amd64 Server: Version: 17.09.1-ce API version: 1.32 (minimum version 1.12) Go version: go1.8.3 Git commit: 19e2cf6 Built: Thu Dec 7 22: OS/Arch: linux/amd64 Experimental: false Where is the difference between docker-ce 17.12 and 17.09? 'I installed 10g on windows 2003 server. During installation database creation process failed, when tried to do the same from 'Configuration Assistants'.

Got error below: Instance created. DIM-00019: create service error O/S-Error: (OS 1388) A new member could not be added to a local group because the member has the wrong account type. I went in the windows services (from control panel). Services were off. I started all services.

But unable to start TNSListener service. On starting this service i get error below: The OracleOraDb10ghome1TNSListener service on Local Computer started and then stopped.

Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service. I'll appreciate any help in this regard. Seagate 500gb 2.5 usb 3.0 slim external hard drive for mac. //.- INTERESTED IN THIS MESSAGE?

I'm not completely sure, but you might check to see if that the user that created the database on the server has administrative rights ( or enough privileges to create a service). It's due to act ive directory issue. Try Oracle 9i on same machine, it will work fine. -Original Message- I'm not completely sure, b ut you might check to see if that the user that created the database on the server has administrative rights ( or enough privileges to create a service).

(Groups) -.//. I've also had this happen. First thing is to check your sqlnet.ora file and make sure it is appropriate for your infrastructure. Also, make sure that your install was done using a LOCAL administrator account. Domain admins are nice, but NOT the account to use to install a DB.

There are a couple of things you can do, but you should always delete the non-functional listener service first. Manually configure a listener. This means creating the listener parameter file and running the command line tool to start the listener service. Consult the Oracle documentation on parameter use. Try running the Net Services wizard again. This will sometimes create a working Listener.

Uninstall and reinstall the entire DB. Much more of a pain, but sometimes it works. This is usually overkill but sometimes there is just something that goes awry in the install. This isn't an exhaustive list. There are many more things that can go wrong.

If you've gone through these, consider opening an SR with Oracle.
